She wants to tell the story at dinner again, the one about the client who tried to steal her idea and how she shut it down in front of everyone. He has heard it twice already this week but he stays quiet, watching her hands move, waiting for the part where she looks over to see if he is still paying attention. He is. He always is. He just will not clap along the way her friends do, and later, alone, she asks why he went so flat when she was mid-story. He tells her he was not flat, he was listening, actually listening, not performing enthusiasm for the table. Neither of them backs down.
That right there is the whole relationship in miniature. Leo needs the room to see her shine, Scorpio needs to feel like he alone understands what is underneath the shine, and both of those needs are legitimate and both people will defend them without blinking. That is fixed energy meeting fixed energy: neither sign bends easily, so disagreements do not get talked out in five minutes, they get dug into. The good news is that fixed also means loyalty that does not waver once it is given. Neither of these two wanders.
The Sun and Pluto make an odd but workable pair. The Sun wants to be seen, Pluto wants to see through things, and when it works, Scorpio becomes the one person whose gaze Leo actually trusts, not just applauds by. Water meeting fire can create steam if they let old arguments simmer too long. What holds it together is that both are genuinely all in, once they decide to be, and both would rather stay and wrestle it out than leave quietly.
